Unlike some other things that can go wrong with our bodies, anything that affects our mouth also affects how we communicate, eat, drink, show affection, how we appear to others and how we express ourselves in general. Our mouth performs a lot of functions that we only realise the importance of when something goes wrong.
Our aim with this website is to give you a broad introduction to some of the common risk factors that can affect our oral health and also outline some simple ways to mitigate the effects of these risk factors and help maintain a healthy mouth.
